They are highly addicting due to the euphoric effect that the drug has on the brain and also because many people become dependent upon them in order to control their issues. Typically, doctors prescribe these medications, after which their patients will begin to abuse them. Many other people who are not prescribed these medications will purchase them on the street in order to fulfill their addiction. Either injecting them into the blood stream or taking them in pill form tend to be the way that most people abuse these drugs.
